The law states that a minor cannot enter into a contract. Therefore it is unlawful for anyone under the age of 18 to enter into a contract with Grateful Remnants unless consent is obtained from parent, carer or guardian.
Grateful Remnants reserves the right to change these conditions below at any time without notice

DELIVERY & SHIPPING:
We will ship by Australia Post Express Post Service which provides tracking reference number as security and peace of mind for both Grateful Remnants and you the customer. We can deliver anywhere in the world. We reserve the right to consent to fill any order. We will only ship once full payment has been received. Orders will be shipped within 10 working days of being received. We will inform you within 10 working days of products on back order. We cannot guarantee shipping times. Delivery within Australia usually takes 1-5 working days. Deliveries outside Australia can take between 2 – 4 weeks depending on where the product is being shipped. Australia Post services may experience delays due to external circumstances. You can track your delivery through parcel tracking, the chatbot and the MyPost App. For the latest information about delays and impacts please visit www.auspost.com.au Shipping is calculated by weight and/or size of the parcel. Shipping rates are sometimes overestimated at time of purchase. Grateful Remnants will amend these rates when packing and processing the order to reflect the true value. You will be notified if changes are made to charges via e-mail once order is processed.

CUSTOM/SPECIAL ORDERS:
Any of our unique handmade products can be specialised to individual preferences. Email for more information and options. Please note that custom orders will take between 15 – 20 business days and any delays will be notified.

WORKSHOPS:
• Workshops for one day or less require 100% payment on booking to secure your place.
• Mobile phones are allowed in the studio workshop but only when turned to silent or vibrate.
• No guests or children may accompany workshop participants at any time.
• Children’s Workshop participants or workshop participants with special needs may have an assistant attend at no charge where deemed necessary.
• We reserve the right to change these conditions at any time without notice.

CUSTOMISED IMMERSION EXPERIENCES & RETREATS:
Grateful Remnants is willing to work in consultation with you and your group’s requirements to create a special, memorable experience. Pricing will be dependent on other parties involved. EG: accommodation, local tours, car hire and airfares.
• 50% of total cost payable upon booking and confirmation.
• Balance due 7 – 14 days prior to event.
• Mobile phones are allowed in the studio workshop but only when turned to silent or vibrate.
• No guests or children may accompany workshop participants at any time.
• We reserve the right to change these conditions at any time without notice.

WARRANTIES, CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS:

PRODUCTS & LONG ARM QUILTING SERVICE:
Handmade items ae unique and often quirky in some respect. Please choose carefully. Whilst Grateful Remnants has every confidence that we will deliver an item as close to perfect as possible there are special conditions that apply when returning goods as per Consumer Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
You must notify us by email immediately to info@gratefulremnants.com if you intend to return goods, stating the reason for the return – e.g. item is faulty or defective. All items must be returned within a reasonable time frame (but no longer than 15 days for domestic sales or 6 weeks for international sales) in the products original state, with a copy of the invoice / proof of payment. Fabrics may not be cut, dyed, or washed from the original state. All kits must be complete. All packaging must be returned.
Refunds & exchanges will not be provided after delivery has occurred unless the item is proven to be faulty, damaged in transit (photo evidence is required within 48 hours of receipt) or does not match the description provided. Exchanges will be made within a reasonable time.
Refunds will be at management’s sole discretion. Shipping & handling charges are not included in refunds. Refunds will only be credited to the same credit card as used in the original purchase. Please send all returns to: Grateful Remnants’ address as detailed on the contact us page. Goods must be returned at your cost prior any refund or exchange taking place. A proof of ID may be requested, and this ID must match the details that were provided at the time of the purchase.

WORKSHOPS –ONE DAY OR LESS DURATION:
• A credit voucher will be issued if we can fill your place if you cancel 3 days or more before the workshop
• Refunds will not be issued should you cancel less than 48 hours before or not attend the workshop.
• A credit voucher MAY be issued if we can fill your place.
• Grateful Remnants does not accept responsibility for changes in personal circumstances of its workshop participants. But we have service guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Grateful Remnants will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

CUSTOMISED IMMERSION EXPERIENCES & RETREATS:
• Refunds of 100% will be issued should you cancel 30 days or more before multi-day workshop or retreat.
• Refunds of 75% will be issued should you cancel 14 – 29 days before multi-day workshop or retreat.
• Refunds of 50% will be issued should you cancel 7 – 13 days before multi-day workshop or retreat.
• Refunds will not be issued should you cancel less than 48 hours before or not attend the workshop.
• Grateful Remnants does not accept responsibility for changes in personal circumstances of its workshop participants. But we have service guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Grateful Remnants will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
