#mosaic is a fun and #creative form of #upcycling 🀩
From a simple #trivet to a larger shaped design or a #threedimensional creation.
You are only limited by your imagination!
Heres just a few samples to get you thinking.
There is something wonderfully #therapeutic about #smashing or #shaping tiles to fit your #artwork. Yes, its #messy and #takestime - days, weeks or months depending on the size or complexity - but the rewards are #longlasting and the sense of #accomplishment is very satisfying.
Grateful Remnants runs #mosaicworkshops suitable for beginners and those who have #dabbled before but want to #revisit this awesome #pasttime
Classes can be customised to suit individuals or get a group of friends or colleagues together over a series of dates that are mutually convenient.

#bespoke #textiledesign #creations are the foundation of Grateful Remnants business. Making #unique #oneofakind #giftsfromtheheart has been part of my #creativeselfcare practice for many years. I find working with #textiles incredibly rewarding, as well as therapeutic.
The only drawback is that sometimes my creative ideas come so thick and fast that I jump from one project to another not necessarily finishing off the current creation at hand. Bet I am not the only one though! 😁😁😁
The first two photos show my completed Shattered Diamond throw size quilt (58 x 60/ 145cm x 150cm) started in 2016 and completed on Wednesday. Whereas the gorgeous, lined tote bag made from leftover fabric scraps, was only dreamed up just before Christmas.
Both will be available on my website soon or you can DM me in the meantime.
